Do you have a passion for healthcare and a desire to work in a vibrant environment with room for growth? We're looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced Family Medicine practice. This is a slower pace clinic working with elderly patients. This is a full-time; 40hrs/week with no weekends! Room for growth! Training is provided!
What will I be doing?
- Greet and assist patients during their visits
- Record vital signs and enter information into the EMR system
- Prepare patient rooms and maintain a clean environment
- Perform blood draws, give injections, and conduct EKGs
- Assist with medical procedures and provide medication information
- Back up the front desk when needed, and assist with record-keeping and chart reviews
What are the requirements?
- Medical Assistant Diploma
- 1 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience with EMR systems (NextGen is a plus)
- Experience in a Family Medicine setting (a plus!)
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR Certification through American Heart Association
